On October 17th 2025, the brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon at Rutgers University proudly celebrated a historic milestone, the official chartering of our chapter. The Charter Banquet marked the culmination of years of dedication, perseverance, and commitment to the values of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love.

The evening brought together undergraduate brothers, alumni, university officials, and national representatives for a night of reflection and celebration. We were honored to be joined by not one, but two Grand Chapter Presidents of Sigma Phi Epsilon, whose presence highlighted the importance of this achievement in the fraternity’s history. Their words of encouragement reminded us that while we came a long way, we have only just begun. We are now entering a period where we must carry ourselves with the virtues we hold ourselves accountable for. 

In addition, throughout the night, brothers had the privilege of connecting with alumni who laid the foundation for our success. It was a privilege talking to alumni who were once in our shoes a ways ago. Their continued support, mentorship, and belief in the brotherhood have been instrumental in helping us reach this moment. We extend our deepest gratitude to every alumnus who contributed to the journey, your guidance made this possible.

As a newly chartered chapter, Sigma Phi Epsilon at Rutgers looks forward to continuing our mission of building balanced men, strengthening our campus community, and leaving a legacy worthy of the name Sigma Phi Epsilon. 

This banquet was not just a celebration of achievement, but was the beginning of a new era for SigEp at Rutgers.
